For eight weeks, families danced to help fight childhood obesity. From the more than 180 videos that were submitted, 14 finalist families then vied for the top prizes. Primrose was so touched by the record-setting number of votes that two videos received during finalist voting week that we were inspired to create an Honorable Mention category to thank those Family Dance-off voters, the families and the hospitals for their hard work in rocking the vote! The Payne family led the charge with an impressive 21,946 votes with the VanWey family finishing a close second with 19,749 votes. Primrose Schools is recognizing each family with a $200 American Express gift card and a $3000 donation to their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Children’s Hospital Foundation and University of Iowa Children’s Hospital.
